I ordered some snowdrops in the green and they turned up yesterday. My neighbour was quite entertained watching me planting them in some stony soil alongside a hedge using a lump hammer and cold chisel to make holes between the buried lumps of stone and broken bricks. Gardening isn't as relaxing as some would have you believe.
