Beedons,as long as they are reasonably strong,have plenty of stores,low varroa, not suffering from nosema,and are fitted with a mouse guard, then they should be fine,they were most likely more concerned with what you were up to.

Just had a passing shower here . extremely cold though! the small amount that fell has taken up residence :).

Still Oxalic acid treatment completed Sunday.Yesterdays mite drop, between 7 and 30 mites ! fourteen days is suggested as likely to see the highest count ?

All this talking about snow is making me jealous. I'm stuck in bl**dy Qatar for christmas and new year and won't be home until 18th Jan. So I'm going skiing at the end of Jan to make up for it :):)
