I've bought one of these and cut a hole in the bottom of the extractor to one side and fitted it there. Easier to get the bottom inch of honey out.

yep, just take the existing gate valve off and replace with that. I have one but never seemed to get around to fitting it.

Which do you prefer, CFM or the perfection tap? Did a search for the CFM (assume Carl Fritz) and saw a thread last year on non-drip taps.

Hemo found Old Castle Farm Hives have the best price for the plastic one at £12.99+delivery, but the CFM is hard to find. Looked on the CF website but found only this tap at 211 Euros.

I think most of the Fritz taps are built into the tanks to be honest
