Thanks, yes an interesting read. Now its confirmed bees responded quickly to weather changes of course,

"The most important of these conditions are temperature and solar radiation. The reaction period between changes in weather conditions and changes in bee foraging activity is less than 1 min. These results suggest that bees continuously monitor their external environment and use the information gained to make decisions about whether to embark on foraging journeys."​

I can't say that I learned anything new or useful from this paper. Maybe I missed something?

Remote monitoring might be very useful for gauging flow viz need to feed vs monitoring health of hives perhaps when visits aren't optimally frequent.
