I have a customer that wants to buy 10 jars. My usual price is £5 for 12oz or 2 for £9. He wants 10 for £40 making it £4 a jar. Should I be shifting my price? What would you do? Cheers

I would say, you were about to put the price up but as a good customer he can have at the old price (£50).

I would say that he could have 10x8oz jars for that price and see what he says!

Most hobby beekeepers run out of honey to sell before new lot is produced. Just ask whatever is local average (club set prices?). I only give discount to liked colleagues and friends. you are contemplating a 20% discount for a stranger. it would be a 33% discount here in Kent as we ask £6 per LB

Local BKAs operating as honey price fixing cartels :D

Indeed...our local association dictates price if selling your honey at their stands at local country shows..... that they get in for nothing...and then takes 20% of it.
Last I heard was they were selling at £4/lb..... ridiculous.
