Second hive entrance

I've noticed at the back of my open mesh floor there is a slight gap where it meets the brood box. It has a slight bow where there is a knot in the wood. Some of the bees are using it as a second entrance, though looking at it I would have thought it was too small for them to get through.
Should I block it so that they only have one entrance to guard or should I leave them to it.

It is early yet but if you leave it the wasps will love a rear entrance
