Hi All

I am brand new.....yet to buy any stuf to get myself started.
I live near to Southend, Essex. Is anyone able to assist me in getting started. I am looking to get a mentor or someone I can learn from.

Hi Sunshine,
Mike sounds like just the man. If were able to work/learn one or two days a week, I'm sure that Mike would be able to show you the business of beekeeping, wisdom, fresh air (mind the smoker), exercise and more hands on experience by the end of the 2010 season than you will be able to shake a stick at.
