Hi,
think i've worked out why one of my strong colonies (well they were a strong colony about a month ago) hav'nt been expanding and hav'nt been filling their super- oh and why they've been a bit foul tempered as well.

As I said in a previous post to the forum- the hives got knocked over by youths some time ago, I put them back together and they hav'nt been vandalised since. I think this was what started the robbing (the hive was literally knocked over and the frames exposed). They were bad tempered when I put the hives back upright, but I put that down purely to being shaken up.

I've decided to swap that hive round with the one which I think is doing the robbing, and we'll see what happens. This is the method suggested by Ted Hooper.

Chris
