I've just got a new poly hive - is it too late to rehive one of my colonies or would I be better off waiting until the spring?

I have 10 to do still, got the new poly nucs but the joiner needs to mod them first - just waiting for a nice sunny/still day to do them and all should be fine.

Do it quickly on a no wind day and you should be ok.

No fannying around looking for brood or the queen mind!! :)

You should be ok if they are flying plus they should be better overall through winter in a poly box.

just be careful that you don't have a accident with the queen at this time of year.
