If you want cheap high quality seeds look at Premier Seeds Direct

There packets are nearly all priced at 99p and you get loads more seeds than you get with all the well known suppliers. I have been using them for a few years now. There postage is quick 3-4 days after ordering There on your door mat and postage costs are very very cheap.

For wildflowers also check out Meadow in My Garden, they are specialists In wild flower meadow creation, and a not for profit CIC. They are very knowledgable and also have a few other seeds, all paper packaged and the veg seeds I have bought from them are, so far, have a 100% germination rate. Or I’m just lucky this year

Oooh, I shall look into them. I'd like to sow some space with wild flowers but whenever I've looked at seed prices in the past it's been hideously expensive.

I've bought from Boston Seeds for grass seed and mixes although aimed at larger scales for many of their lines.

Highly recommend Emorsgate for native wildflower seeds - great website. Then ‘Real seeds’ for vegetables.Use Peter Nyssen for flowering bulbs. Have tried others but these are the best for reliable germination and good service .

I use Emorsgate too. Good results from my wildflower meadow. For veg I have started using Kings seeds. A family run business that is good value and lots of seeds in most packets.

Where do you lot get your seeds from?

In the UK, Real Seed and Vital Seeds are two very trusted sources of OP. Also The Seed Cooperative (Wales, I think?)

Vital seeds certainly look interesting. From a brief scan of their website they perhaps don't have as large a range as Real Seeds, but I shall certainly bear them in mind for next year.

Yes, smaller selection but some interesting varieties. I recently did their online seed saving course (I’m a seed librarian) and it was great. We don’t have any seed companies in Scotland...yet.
