I have a Queenless colony, a very small Queen that has stopped laying, no eggs, larve..
I intend to kill the non laying Queen & put a frame with eggs from my other colony but due to a holiday I will not be able to do another inspection for 12 days.
If more than one queen cell is produced will the first emerging Queen tear down any other Queen cells?
Or shall I waiting until after my holiday before introducing a frame with eggs so I can remove any extra cells myself after 1 week.

Any advice appreciated.

bit late to be waiting another fortnight to do it.

if you put the frame in just before you go away then the queens should be ready to emerge the day after you inspect (or while you are doing it!!!!).

If more than one queen cell is produced you could end up losing some of your Bees due to swarming :(
