No. That is hazardous system. Out of question!

That cage is good when you give a new queen.

Never, if you want to rear queens YOU need to be in control of events not using emergency cells of unknown age and catching the queen when emerged would be another game.

Why Finsky?

Surely that system of cages is just like you find in a breeder hive with nursery cages.

You are caging queen cells of which you know nothing. How old was the larvae when the RJ feeding started? How well were they fed?

A quite pointless exercise to be honest.

If you want to rear queens do it from scratch and properly, they are far too important to be left to chance like this.

The best thing is to learn to graft and to be honest you can read, watch etc but doing it is the only way to learn and it WILL go wrong to start with but the satisfaction of your own queens is in my opinion one of the best feelings you can get from beekeeping, II is my next hurdle to get over, it goes on but is always a challenge and is very satisfying.
