I know it's late in the day, but has anyone got a queen available in the Maidenhead, Berks. area (SL6).

Colony has just been test framed and they are Q-, so if anyone can help I'd be delighted to save them......

6 good colonies? Don't panic.

They have time yet, weather permitting, to requeen themselves and survive!

Obviously better to give them a laying queen, but BTDT.

With so many options (frames of bees, stores, uniting etc) there should be no need to mention the word 'panic'.

I would expect the suppliers have plenty of queens available still.

Thanks for the advice Oliver90.

Loath to let them re-queen themselves again...this would be the third try this season for them...they seem incapable of raising a viable queen. Hence the desire for some new blood to give them some direction and purpose.

Here's hoping!!
