just been looking on the bid for bees site a 6 framed nuc for £320 must not be many bees about.

Sold for GBP390 or approx $600
Something special about these or are the bidders out of their minds?

It would explain why beekeeping is having problems in the UK if this is what costs are like for a regular punter, I would expect to pay a max of $100 for this and I would get the box too.

Would it be cynical to suggest that it's a ploy from a site not exactly overwhelmed with custom to drum up a bit of interest and/or get people talking about it?
