Hi all,

There is always one that must wear different coloured pants.

Any idea about this pollen? I can't say I've ever seen it before, nor were there any other bees seen carrying any.

the purple one? If this was the UK i would say Phacelia, but i have no idea if you have that.
It is grown in the UK as a cover crop, and the bees love it.
Phacelia pollen often described as blue, but to my eyes it is purple.
The attached photo taken in July when there was a field full of the stuff flowering within a hundred metres of the hives.
