If the weather plays ball, then we should be completing a Bailey Comb change on one hive this weekend as all brood will have emerged.
Despite blocking the bottom entrance when we moved the queen into the top brood box, there was a reasonable amount of pollen in the old brood frames last week. Is there an easy way to remove this pollen and return it to the bees? The frames are pretty dark and of an undetermined age, so are destined for melting down.
Thanks
Will
