We have them. Grow as a weed. Bees love them .

A good ground cover plant which self seeds and is 100% hardy: they self seed and die over winter. Ours are about 15 years old and are totally neglected... Bees like them as much as wild blue geraniums: ...

I've got them. The bumble bees like them, but the honey bees dont seem to be bothered. Borage plants however are covered in bumble bees and honey bees all the time.

The bees at my association apiary go daft on the poached egg plant they really love it which is good as ground cover is all poached egg and snowdrops in the winter.

How hardy is the borage when newly seeded? I have a load of seeds but plants (not borage) I planted last year at my own apiary got taken over by buttercup etc. My bees are in an out apiary and I had an area set aside.
