I have seen one piece black plastic frames in use. The bees seem to like them.

Will they withstand a good boiling in a few years or will they be something else on the land fill site. Traditional disposal of wooden frames is to burn them in case of nasties so other bees can't rob them.

I have started using them this year, doing well so far I have had only one frame in 40 they built bur comb on.

They are black, very easy to see eggs and larvae and do grafting.

Had no buckling so far and have to say if I could find good National ones would probably switch over from wood.

Mine are Langstroth at the moment.

I bought a box of 100+ MD shallow black plastic one piece to try OSB method about 3yrs ago, most are now in use.

If an area of comb is misdrawn I take that section back and let them try again, I have just a few that have a bow in the top bar and generally find them to be robust.

The frame design of the ones I have is not good and are difficult to clean.

I am now trying plastic foundation with wood frames, and find this to be a much better option.

WARE did you get the plastic foundation

Mann like that cost you ????????
