I used this method to feed my bees and it's simple and seems to work a treat.
I think it was Admin's idea , but can't be sure where i read it. But just fill a bag up put a slit in the top, having placed the bag ontop of the frames .When i went and checked my bees yesterday they had totally finished 1 bag :)

:cheers2: for the idea :)

It's a great system yes. Until it fails.........

Do the best for your friends and treat your bees to a quality frame feeder.

When they decide what box they want to live in i will ph.
At the mo it was a quick try to get them to move up, but it's on my build list( feeder) :)

I also doubled the bags up , sugar syrup in bag tie up then slipped it into another bag left open. Little slit at the top and it worked.
But i will sort out a feeder soon.

.
How big is your colony?

If the colony is not able to draw new combs you just fill valuable existing combs.

Finman , do you mean pour syrup straight into the empty comb ?
As for size i don't know being new, it could be small or bigger i have no idea.
I think i will have to have a better look and report my findings ,to try and sort this out.
