Anyone know what this plant is?

Bees love it and I have been looking for it's identity for a couple of years now.

I will have a go, might help if you had said how tall it is and where it is, marsh, swamp, seaside, dersert? and the photo I am looking at is a little blurred so i take it that the fuzzy pink flowers are with the infocus leaves ?

my guess is a Hoary stock, Matthiola incana

Sorry for the lack of information. The plant is about 2ft tall and the leaf the way it joins the stem is very distinctive. I have put up two more photos and if you clcik on the thumbnails you will see the full size pics.
Pete, I think your answer may be correct. Nijal, thanks I think I have looked on this site last year but can't remember if it was for this plant. I will try it again.

I agree with Pete - Matthiola incana. some of these varieties are night scented, don't know if this one is.

Welcome Norm good to read your pearls again.
:cheers2: Mike
