I attended a Go It Alone microscopy long weekend just passed and I thought I might show members what can be done with certain samples.
Someone bought along some plankton and this is the result of mounting on a slide.

Hi Darren
The magnification is about X20 or X30 not sure what I had the magnification set on. The one that shows the plankton in white has been stained with a blck stain to show up the insects as white just to give a different approach to the slides.
I am now starting on mounting a whole bee so I see how that turns out.

Regards
