i have a couple of frames with pollen and some stored honey left over from my bailey frame change from standard brood to 14 x 12. bees don't seem to be using the frames at all now.
what is the best way to encourage the bees to empty the frames completely, or should crush and strain the frames and feed back the mixture with a little water.
:cheers2:

Score the cappings to break up the structure and place above the crown board - remember to leave the ventilation holes open.
The bees will determine that it's not part of the hive and take it all down to somewhere more useful.
