If you want to learn to dance like travolta and be a gymnast, just nip out in your shorts late on a summers evening to close them up for a early move the next morning.

Anyone got snippets of old lore?
My favorite is:

‘A swarm in May is worth a load of hay; a swarm in June is worth a silver spoon; but a swarm in July is not worth a fly'
1879 R. JEFFERIES Wild Life in Southern County vii.

As true today as it ever was
It depends just as all beekeeping does. I can save December cutouts now with sugar (Mountain Camp method) and insulation. Been there and done that. Thus, a July swarm is a boon to me.
