Got called out today to a swarm in Bury Lancashire.
It had been in the shrubs for some weeks it would not fit into a nuc box so had to get a box from a shop will try and take some pics tomorrow of it before I start to split it down and fit the comb onto frames. not looking forward to that on my own lol.

Forgot to add if you got a hole in your hedge the swarm came from your edge lol

Wow broandy! Good luck with that swarm. I am really looking forward to going to a swarm collection one day. I would love to help with one so if anyone gets a call and they are in Manchester and they need a willing helper, just shout for me :D
 
broandy...like your method of hanging the branch! Makes perfect sense to me however I am not sure if I would have thought of that for quite a while (the few swarms we have collected have mainly been the simple 'yank the branch' sort)
