i have decided to build two obs hives each one is to hold four frames, now after surfing through the adverts on fleebay, we have a massive choice of timber and that was with out popping around to my local timber merchant who sells me loads of bits and short lengths but what timber should i bee looking at, i dont want the frame to twist or move when its finished so i thinking either oak or ash any suggestions anyone?

I would go with either of those but I have to confess to loving the look of waxed beech.

Four frames configured how? One brood and three sups or two and two?

PH (Who is making up Manley frames with VERY tight sidebars...argh! half a mil half a mil....LOL)
