Nucs in S Wales...?

I bought 2 nucs off the chap our association members in the past have bought over 40 nucs off him last year. They have ordered 50 off him this year.

Of all the people that have bought from him I have not heard of one of them where the hives have gone nasty (let alone deadly) even when they have requeened themselves.

I do not gain anything personally from recommending the chap. If there were any problems with the bees I wouldnt reccomend them myself to begginers. If I had to buy any more bees myself I would not hesitate to buy from him.

just a quick update - we collected the bees on Friday, they are now in the hive and pollen is going in.

With the ban on Hawiian imports, they are now raising queens themselves.
