I'm a new beekeeper near Coventry and sadly lost my first small colony over winter so didn't do it right.
I would like to try again with a new nuc, or better still colony. Can anyone help please?

Hi Jenny - if you don't get any local offers, the Lincoln auction on March 31st is less than two hours away from you - you should be able to pick up nucs and colonies there at a decent price

Thanks both for your replies - Mick I've tried sending you a pm - but not sure that it worked Are you a member of covbee yahoo group? I'm in the process of joining that as well

do you have details of the auction venue / etc, please?

i can see a trip out wasting money that i havent got coming on ;)

Its worth a trip out normally, and not far from Th**nes if you going to make a day of wasting your money!

sadly I have to go to some wretched wedding that day :banghead:

Jenny did you get sorted ok with a colony, if not i can help you out there. Am I right in thinking that your daughter has just had a baby in Bristol? If so I'm not getting my Jenny's mixed up and a Coventry member has sorted you out. There not a bad lot in Coventry.

Jenny,
I am just down the road in Kenilworth and I am in the process of making up some nucs as part of my own Queen rearing programme. Please let me know if you are still looking for bees,
Regards
