As soon as I can confirm that I still have a laying queen in another hive, this will be ready to go. It's on National frames. It is already bigger than your standard nuc and the queen is very prolific so by the time it does go, it will be pretty much a full colony. If anyone is potentially interested I can give a more accurate idea of how big a colony it is.
She is a 2009 queen (marked)
I really don't know how much these go for but I am looking for £175.

Sorry forgot to mention, the queen , as far as I am aware is a buckfast cross?
She's certainly very prolific if that means anything.

Hi Gill,
Is this nuc. still available? If so could you tell me whereabouts in Dorset you are?
Many thanks,
Sarah

Hi Sarah,
Yes the nuc ( although I think it is definitely beyond nuc size now!) is still available as I am still waiting for my other colony to produce a laying queen.
That should be within a couple of weeks depending on the weather .

I am near Dorchester ( about 4 miles north ish)

Let me know if still interested.
Gill
