Monster Summer here in West London, near Syon Park and Kew Gardens, at least by our standards. Mainly because of excellent success with Demaree manipulations but reduction in hedge and tree cutting plus good weather for the parks has seen steady flows. That said, its slowed right down this week. Like mark, I'm watching the HB, its prevalent along the Thames. The River Authority are buggers for cutting it back. Not seen the ghosts yet!

I've still not seen any bees on the hb yet Johnny.
Lots of gorse pollen and the rosebay is getting lots of attention.

I took one super from 8 colonys last weekend these are hives at 450m and above so our highest apiarys
Not all are production colonys mind you.
It seems the single 14x12 colonys are loaded with both honey and pollen but not much in the supers above.
I've had to do 5 Baileys on the highest apiarys this season so they've used alot for building comb.
I hope it's not to warm down there.

The start to the summer flow went well, then as the main areas of blackberry came into full flower it rained for 3 weeks solid.

Heather flow on in my neighbourhood.
