so, question regarding two colonies in same apiary
one is on double brood and has some swarm preps showing (16+ frames bia)
from a queen i like, was going to split brood boxes and let one requeeen and then figure out whether to re-unite or leave as two
meanwhile
another colony with a q i like less has a capped q cell (all others destroyed last weekend)
question
could i remove this q cell (then hopelessly q-) and unite by placing the brood box with queen from the good colony above this one with newspaper? it would be on site of q- colony?
