mild...yesterday one hive was as active as a summers day
very active
Cold here.
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
the wasps were also scraping the wood on the roofs. I am hoping this cold weather might sort the wasps out.
I've seen plenty of pollen going in the last few days. I popped open one of the hives yesterday and it was teeming with bees but curiously was also full of stores....and brood.
I'm half tempted to add another super (currently on 1.5) to give them a bit more space.
Maybe a snap of cold weather will help the bees and me with aligning our annual chronometer, because at the moment it all feels off
