I'm off to have a hot shower - that leaflet made my skin crawl...Thank goodness they aren't here yet!:(
 
Grim isn't it? The pictures of the grubs in such quantity made me shudder. Let's keep the little so and so's at bay, prevention being so much better than cure here I think.
 
Agreed - apparently I am in a high risk zone as I am close to an airport that accepts freight...joy of joys...
 
There already being kept and studied in a lab in this country!

So I'm just waiting for the inevitable. :(
 
Africanised bees in labs in America spring to mind..
We all know how that panned out !!
 
I feel a movie coming on...:sifone:...not quite as exciting as the bee ones but...:) Invasion of the SHB!! Except of course it ain't funny...
 
I guess if you are used to something you cope and if it is new, you need to adapt - our poor bees are busy trying to adapt to varroa and then they'll have to start again for SHB!
