I went to the 'Trade Fair' today, I picked my Thorne's pre-ordered sale item and was really impressed with the service, I even managed to convince 'Mr Parking Man' to let me park next to the lorry! The quality of the frames I bought as seconds are really good.

Picked up some nice bargains there, in particular, wired queen excluders for £5 unframed. I was however a little disappointed with the layout there mind (its my first time there), and gutted that Paynes do not go there.

Anyone else from this forum been there yet?

Just got back after this afternoons workshop and will be back for another in the morning. Just short of 2000 entries this year and slightly more than last year.

The layout has changed this year and despite lots of classes in different rooms over two floors they are in their own building making it more spacious and relaxed. The test will be on Saturday when the big crowds turn up. May take a look in the trade hall tomorrow to say hello to one or two people and see if there is any deals on the metalwork.

You should have called in there today, stock was going fast, but it was quiet.

First time for me today. Was in awe of some of the displays, some fabulous honey and wax being exhibited. Stocked up on some new foundation for next year in the trade hall and bought a few bits of woodwork. A nice day out.

Some Excellent displays this year and extremely good wax. One nice thing with the new layout most of the wax was in a separate room and smelt lovely.

Heard two of her talks - Marketing and IPM - found her to be a really good speaker and gave me some food for thought (especially the marketing).

I was unable to attend and enter this year which I really regret as I love going.

I spent a couple of enjoyable days at the show.
Some good lectures and workshops and a very high standard of show entries.
Congratulations to all the winners.
Trade hall/s a bit disappointing.

Yes, the lectures will be going up on You Tube this year. It does take a lot of work to get them edited and approved so please be patient.

:thanks:
According to the NHS website, there are some from previous years marked as "on hold". Will these be released too, or, is there a reason to hold them back?

Steven Martin's "on hold" lecture will go public tonight.
