Newly mated Queens mean that in the first week of July I will have for sale five National Nucs on Hoffman frames. Queens are Carnolian ex Easybee stock.

Price is £125 each.

PM to put your name down.

Located in Castle Donington, East Midlands.

To clarify this is a buyer collects situation, as although I have successfully sent bees very long distances in that past that was via a ferry company with sympathy for livestock not white van man....So its a collect and bring your own hive for them to be transferred into.

Hi,

I've had so many problems with aggression from my first hive. Do yours follow the claimed pattern with Carnolians of being very docile, while prolific and industrious ?

Mine are aggressive sometimes pending on the weather

Not quite sure what happened to the thread there, but to get back on topic, did your nucs sell OK PH? (I'm not a potential customer, but have Easybee Carniolan queen's queens - result of school fees!

No oddly enough.

I am taking them off the market as I now have more which are a bit weak so they are going to have a wee game of chess played to boost up the weak ones and bleed off the strong ones.

I will over winter them now and we will see how many of the planned 20, fifteen now in place, will survive and get sold.

I'm getting the feeling that prices have softened a lot.

Not sure on the pricing front but it's now too late for newbies to get honey and they would be dubious about winter now so let some one else take that risk.

Suits me. I can get top price in spring. UK bred queens and all... LOL

now why would I establish my self over there..... LOL
