Hi my first post.
When adding mouse guards do I have to take the entrance out completely or leave it with a 1 bee space.

If you leave the block in they find it hard to clear dead bees out. Depending on your mouse guard if it is the one with tunnels rather than holes then lift it slightly. It stops any pollen being knocked off.
