Should I worry about a big grey moth in the roof of a hive?
I found one in a colony that seems healthy enough and I cant see any damaged comb. I killed it btw, but should I check the colony sooner than my next usual weekend visit?

I'd ring the Bee Inspector. And maybe even inform the National Bee Unit.

No. A wax moth crawling amongst stored combs should not be made very welcome, but don't worry if you find one in a hive of live bees.

Thanks for that.

Clever sarcasm btw in an ironic sort of way. Oh and very very funny.
