Just spoke with Harry who founded the business and builds the hives. What a great person to talk to, full of good advice, no hard sell, really supportive.

I will use him again

Just looks like second quality hives and kit…looks a bit more geared to the public rather than actual beekeepers. I’d look at the main supplier sale prices and compare, I think you’ll find them cheaper.

There’s nothing wrong with second/sale items most of my hives are. You just want them at the right price.

Read carefully and I believe you'll find that he built his first few, but outsources retail production.

Who knows, however, when I spoke to him he used terms like after gluing I sand it down to remove the glue. Sounded genuine to me, but we’ll see
