Modification to an old Dartington hive

Have been working on an old Dartington to modify it to my needs.

My plan is to use this one for creating nucs.

So first thing I did was to raise the floor to convert it from 14 X 12 to DN4.

I then packed the floor with celotex

Next up was replacing the rotten roof. Also took the opportunity to insulate this as well.

Then I made two deep crown boards to fit an English feeder.

Then I made some divider boards up.

Ran out of time for today so will work on entrances and painting later.
