Miner Bee?

Son spotted this today in the grass. Believe it is a miner bee. Was struggling so was given a helping hand with some sugar/syrup and a warm spot. Right thing or let loose as soon as possible?IMG_2278.jpeg

Looks like an Ashy Mining bee. They like fruit trees. Nest in Sandy soil, flies from April through to June. Lovely little things.

Andrena cineraria it was probably not far from it's nesting site, lawned areas as well as parkland/ bare ground is it's habitat.
