Milk down the drain

Something upset me this morning.....

Dairy farmers local to me have been forced to dispose of their milk. Apparently police have forbidden milk tankers access to smaller roads. Too dangerous I suppose but only because nobody is gritting smaller roads at all. The suspicion is a milk shortage is being averted by bringing it from mainland Europe on the relatively free-flowing motorway network.

I'm off for another cocoa.
 
I just walked down to our local co-op to discover only 6 pints left on the shelves.
So I bought 2 for the weekend.
The woman in front of me had 12 litres in her basket.
Maybe she has a big family

Just another example of the "we'll protect you from yourselves " state that Britain's turned into.
