metal queen excluder vs plastic

so got the feeling that the paynes plastic qx you get in the bundle arent well thought of and dont last forever and so got a few bee-equipment metal queen excluders

they dont have a bee space but then neither did the plastic ones

hoping this might keep HM below the demarree's to stop confusing me
 
They used to be the wrong dimension, not sure what they are like now or the bee equipment ones but maisee plastic excluders are 500mm.
 
Ive got both. Prefer the metal ones though the plastic are used when extra equipment is need..
 
You can also buy bamboo ones. Nice round, soft edges.

prone to warp and twist

Has anyone paused to consider that, something that for us, on a teeny little queen excluder, looks sharp and angular, to a teeny little bee would be as smooth and rounded as a corner on a double decker bus?
