Could you please investigate why the site keeps dropping my log-in. Just today I typed a lengthy post, went to post it but could not as according to the forum I was not logged in, so lost it.

Do you have cookies enabled on your computer ?

The loggin time on the forum is 600 seconds(ten minutes) of inactivity when it then logs you off.

Any longer and the who is online function becomes irrelevant.

I think there is also a box to tick as you log in so that it remembers you. I can't remember what it is because it is so long since I last had to log in. Doubtless helped by the fact that my computer currently has an uptime of 125 days.

If you do a long post, you might get logged off while typing. However, after pressing the 'Add Post' button up comes a screen for you to log in. If you log on, the post you are trying to post and have just typed still gets posted.
