I have just come back from 3 weeks holiday to discover that one of my two colonies is queenless. Does anyone out there have a mated queen for sale? All the regular commercial suppliers have finished for the year.

Ive got 2 ready 2 go when someone wants them. Just waiting to unite 4 small colonies im quite willing to sell for £10-00 this covers over nite post. I would like the person that they go 2 to make a donation to this forum

Are you sure your hive is Q-? My queen had a nice rest this time last year for a couple of weeks and I think she is doing the same this year. No brood whatsoever last weekend but I am hoping for some soon. The bees seem quite happy though and storing up supplies for the winter. If no brood this week I will think about when to put in a test frame. Did you try this?

hi have you any more queens for sale i have caped brood but no uncaped can no sign of a queen

Greg1967 Capped brood but no uncapped could just mean that your queen is resting like mine did last year. Try a test frame before getting a new queen just to make sure.
