I'd also contact Wyefield apiaries and get a quite from them - last September they were selling pallets of fondabee in 12.5 kilo boxes (5x2.5Kg packs) £14.00 a box delivered, although I know the price has gone up since then

Sam's cheapest was 15.50, I went with Bako for 13.95 - fondabee's handy for nucs but I couldn't justify the price discrepancy

Used sugar cake this weekend on my swarmed nuc colony .They have lapped it up.So will use this method as and when required

I'm encouraged by your success, I'll have to try them again. Once they've eaten the tonne of fondant I capitulated and bought! :-/
