I am thinking that 6 degrees is not worth worrying about.
I am going to experiment with some scrap material between making two cuts (table saw) or one pass with the router table. I will leave the excess width hanging out over the thinner box.
For making nucs I am planning on two broods from insulation, the floor from plywood and the roof one piece of insulation iwth ply as the edge all round.
I'll do some pics when I get things moving but at the moment I am organising the garage space and with the current temps, an hour out there is quite enough evan with the thermals on. Brrrrrr
