The honey I have take off last weekend all smelt and tasted strongly of Lime. One hell of a minty kick is a good description. Well happy
 
Yes. Book that tells the full story is Plants & Beekeeping by Frank Howes (Faber,1945 & 1979) which has six pages of lime detail. The book was beautifully written and so good that William Kirk incorporated much of it into his book Plants & Bees (IBRA, 2012).

Flowering of different species in the 1940s at Kew (Howes was an entomologist there) started in early June and ended in mid-August, and a neat little chart gives detail. The 1979 edition lacks the photos of the first.
Howes is a great reference book. It might have been written many years ago but it remains relevant and readable today.
