Page 117, full page briefing note on banning imports of packages, signed on behalf of several national Associations.
Page 128, ad by BE, advertising "Fabulous Selection of Package Bees"

The Executive of the BBKA were asked this question several times at ADMs.
"Why let people who import bees advertise in your magazine?"
To which the stock answer was: "EC competition law does not allow us to discriminate against certain advertisers - we must treat them all the same."

Well that no longer applies. Surely?

I wrote to the editor and had a reply back today.
She says that at the time the mag went to press (early Mar) things were moving fast and to expect changes in the next edition.

they probably use the same excuse for most of the contents - but I think a century and a half too late is pushing it a bit.

Well the WBKA have just sent me an email inviting me to sign a government petition on this very issue. The original creator one Anne Rowberry who just happens to be chair of the BBKA.
