Off to the club hives later today to watch and learn OA treatment. It's great to be able to get it wrong on the club hives before I do my own!!

Interesting......................

outside tempurature..............

have the supers of winter stores been put on the bottom, or are they lifted if on top for treatment ??????

seems a bit early, but then it is mild in the Tamar Valley and I know the rest of the country has been artic.... positively sub~tropical here by comparison!!

45.0grammes Oxalic acid;100.0 grammes sugar, mix together and add water to make 1 litre of solution- this gives a 3.5 % solution.Use straight away - don't keep unused solution, give it to some other deserving soul for his/her bees.
