Large dummy boards - Ben Harper Method

In reference to the 'Ben Harper Method' would it be suitable to use thick blocks of kingspan board rather than wood for the large dummy boards? I ask as i have some boards spare rather than blocks of wood.
 
Ben Harden? Kingspan should be no problem. I build fat dummies from wood or Correx. Just prevent them from nibbling it away with a few yards of duct tape.
 
I just use spare frame feeders bunched together just because it's one less piece of equipment to have lying around.

I did, two 50mm taped together, mind you my attempt wasn't that successful! Only one Qcell. Don't think it was the material of the dummy boards tho', more likely the larvae had dried out, since the last larva transferred was the one that developed.
