I have been tasked by a village community group to find out more about pig keeping - can anyone advise a good website or forum I can ask for info - the "pig" equivalent of this would be great ifg it exists.

Thanks - in desparate need of help

I dont know were that forum is but let us know, main points are that someone will need to call the council for a farm number so you have a tracable number for when you buy it onto your land and the other bit is

DONT NAME ANYTHING YOU ARE GOING TO EAT

unless you ask someone like me to pop over as I will happily knock it on the head for you , yum yum

The most important thing to know is some pigs are brighter than some people.

I was a pigman for some years, and have been out smarted many a time.

They have brains and use them.

Thanks for all your advise. I'm definitely know more about pigs now - but still prefer bees - except for supper!
